Communities 3.0
Communities 3.0 project – Development of local forward-looking centers as platforms for inclusive neigbourhoods – co-fundend by the European Commission Erasmus+ KA2 programme focuses on the development of a sustainable cooperative approach in a form of forward-looking learning platform for boosting civil society actors and adult education organisations as active agents for social inclusion in socio-economically disadvantaged neighbourhoods (SEDN).
The project will equip community-based organisations with new methods and tools to promote social inclusion, civic engagement and democracy, and to attract and offer everyone in the community lifelong and life wide learning opportunities. These methods will be directly applied by the participating organisations and their local partners in practice. These best practices will boost bottom-up initiatives in SEDN, where the citizens of SEDN will be directly involved.
It will last 36 months 01/05/2022 – 30/04/2025
Objectives
Capacity-building of NGOs and adult education providers via 2 MOOC courses:
- Sustainable local partnerships as forward-looking learning platforms for promoting social inclusion and active citizenship in socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhoods (SEDN).
- Creative neigbourhoods for social inclusion, civic participation and active citizenship.
Development of a toolbox with evidence-based and hands-on best practices connected to each course for support and inspiration of professionals of the forward-looking learning platforms in SEDN;
Contribute to inclusive environments that foster equity and equality and that are responsive to the needs of the wider community.
Activities
Need analysis for country report development and collecting best practices;
Technical and content development of curriculum, which will be uploaded in MOOC platform with a pool of best practices connected to each result;
Development of the promotion MOVIE;
Pilot activities of curriculum as well as test drive of MOOC platform;
Dissemination and external communication, including multiplier events in all partner countries.
Results
Field study on existing social inclusion initiatives by the civil society organizations and adult education providers in SEDN;
Curriculum for setting-up sustainable local partnerships as forward-looking learning platforms for promoting social inclusion and active citizenship in SEDN;
Online MOOC program “Creative neighborhood for social inclusion and active citizenship”;
Curriculum for a training program “Creative neighborhoods for social inclusion, civic participation and active citizenship” with an integrated toolbox of best practices;
Promotion movie with lessons learnt in partner countries.
